Racist Eyes (2024)

Racist Eyes confronts racism as a collective, human issue—not just an individual one. Through sourced media and video collage, the work explores how race-based hatred is inherited, sustained through silence, and passed from generation to generation. It calls for shared responsibility and conscious dialogue to dismantle the cycles of prejudice embedded in our culture.

"Office Hours" is a collaborative short film I directed, filmed, and edited with classmates in my cohort. Created for the SJSU Film Organization, the challenge was to conceive, shoot, and edit a short film within just one hour. It was a fast-paced and incredibly fun project to make.

Through the use of green screen techniques, found footage from the internet, and physical props, the piece recontextualizes media fragments to provoke critical reflection on the information we consume and the systems that shape it.

Dance Through The Experience (2024)

Dance Through the Experience reimagines the Wii game Michael Jackson: The Experience as a platform to explore the harsh realities of police brutality against marginalized communities. By juxtaposing the playful energy of a dance game with the weight of social injustice, this piece highlights the tension between entertainment and lived experience. It invites viewers to reflect on how violence and systemic oppression are often overlooked—even as they persist in everyday life.

Adobe Workshop Introduction (2024)

As Vice President of the CADRE Student Organization (Computers in Art, Design, Research & Education), I hosted a hands-on workshop on green screen techniques using Adobe Premiere Pro. To kick things off, I created this humorous, engaging, and informative intro video—demonstrating the exact skills and effects I later taught during the session.
