Nebula Hero! is a 2D platform video game that explores both fictional and real-world consequences of climate change. Players take on the role of a cosmic hero tasked with saving Earth from alien threats—not through violence, but by practicing sustainable behaviors and fostering unlikely friendships with foreign lifeforms.

This collaborative project brought together technical and artistic talents. I led the creative development by conceptualizing the story, designing all original sprites, visual assets, and effects, and selecting the soundtrack to shape the game’s atmosphere. My partner managed the programming side to ensure smooth, functional gameplay. The result is a visually immersive and thought-provoking experience, designed exclusively for desktop and laptop platforms.
